As Christmas approaches (and Hanukkah), I have to think about making a present for Debbie. She was raised in an Orthodox Jewish home, and still tries to keep with the Jewish traditions. Buying Kosher in the deep south is fun. I digress, I designed a pendant for her to wear, the prototype is shown here:
The final piece will be done in Sterling Silver. The blue stone is her September birthstone (sapphire) about 0.3 carat. I will probably change the overall shape to round, she would prefer not to have sharp points (even if they are rounded). All is handcut/crafted.
