I have recently received two books on Wire Work by Jim McIntosh.
Wire Wrapping: The Basics and Beyond
Very well illustrated and written in an easy to follow manner. While some very interesting items are used to illustrate the methods; it is the methods and how they can be used that are emphasized. Once you learn the method being illustrated for pendants, rings and more; you can adapt to almost any style cut stone. Well worth the purchase price.
Wiresmithing: The New Look of Wire Art
Not for an entirely inexperienced wire worker, but this text is so well illustrated and written that almost any wire worker could easily follow and create using the techniques being presented. Wonderful book and as above well worth the price.
Two excellent choices for your library.
