I was looking at a 12 mm Heart faceted Prasiolite stone and trying to think of a way to make it into a present for my wife for this coming Valentine’s Day. I kept going back to the outline of the stone that I drew to consider for design, and I said to myself, the heart is great. So, I made the outline larger (18 mm) and used the drawing as a free form jig to shape a series of Sterling Silver hearts. In the middle of each heart, I hung a heart shaped stone on a hand crafted sterling silver head pin. These looked so good, I have put the stone on the shelf for later consideration. In fact, I made four hearts and Debbie will have her choice, then the others will be available for sale. These hearts will all be on Sterling Silver chains.
